The unit is on the 36th floor of 2121 Ala Wai Blvd with mountain views from the large private lanai, the Ala Wai golf course and the Ala Wai canal where outrigger canoes paddle daily. Unobstructed ocean views, amazing sunsets and Friday night fireworks can be enjoyed from the opposite side of the unit.
The unit has both North "Mauka or Mountain Side" and South "Makai or Ocean Side" exposures with exceptional cross ventilation from the trade winds (Northeast 90% of the time) that run from the Koolau mountains/Manoa valley to the ocean, so air condition is not needed. The Kitchen and Living Room/Dining Room are located on the "mountain side" the Bedrooms are on the "ocean side".
Our home is located 3 blocks from the famous Waikiki Beach, minutes from Diamond Head Crater, and just 20 minutes from downtown Honolulu.  You can easily take advantage of the nearby beaches (beach towel and chairs provided) and hiking trails, or make a visit to the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, or Waikiki Marketplace. There are also plenty of casual and fine-dining choices nearby, plus a grocery store down the street if you choose to cook.  Our kitchen is fully-equipped with plenty of cooking gear, full size appliances, oven toaster, microwave and dishwasher.  Recently renovated unit in October 2009,  marble floor, all new stainless steel appliances, new cabinets on kitchen and bathroom. 
Located in exclusive Waikiki West-end residential area, up to five people can enjoy all Waikiki has to offer. Assigned cover parking stall, Washer/Dryer, high-speed wireless internet connection and free-local telephone service in unit for your convenience.
